Andrei Munteanu

Andrei Munteanu was born in Romania and studied Industrial Design in Germany. Initially, his focus lay in the natural sciences. Over time, he discovered his artistic identity, weaving together diverse influences such as Italian design, primitive art, and Japanese architecture. Munteanu has designed several sofas for Giorgetti, MDF Italia, and Jongform. In 1998, he created Tribù’s first outdoor sofa concept. Pure Sofa reduces design to its essence: pure simplicity and elegance define this timeless piece.
